Eurosport, one of the leading distributors of sports brands on the Maltese islands, now has its first online presence.
Developed by Aqubix and designed by Switch, the Eurosport website formed part of an even larger re-branding project; "we wanted to make sure that the website projected the right image that benefits the Eurosport brand. We are very happy with the combination of branding and technical expertise that Switch Design and Aqubix brought to the table’’ says Tina Peresso, Eurosport’s Managing Director.
‘A lot of attention was given to creating the right online product catalogue. Europsort wanted its clients to have the best experience possible while browsing through their favourite products. For this reason users are able to search by collection, brand, gender and types of sports – we wanted to make it as easy as possible for Eurosport clients to find what they are after as easily as possible." states Kristoff Zammit Ciantar, Director at Aqubix.
Other interesting features of the site include the store locator, the loyalty card sign up and the integration with social media.
Mario Ellul, IT Manager at Eurosport, also had words of praise about Aqubix’s expertise. “The Admin console of the website is very intuitive and has a fast system response time. This was critical for us as we need to update the product catalogue regularly. This was our main concern due to our large range of products but the new system allows us to import bulk data easily and quickly."
The website is fully compatible with multiple browsers and can run on any platform, including mobiles and tablets.
